Towards Semantic Interoperability

We explain how semantic interoperability is important for the Norwegian public sector. Important aspects for a technical solution are discussed. We choose UML to help us with our semantic interoperability efforts. Some of UML’s strong point and week point are considered. Our resulting TOR system is also described.
